2017 MBGLL Coaching Requirements
 

Medway Youth Lacrosse will reimburse coaches upon completion of any and all clinics and seminars. 

The MBGLL Coaching Requirements are as follows:

MBGLL Recreation Program

 

·      All head and assistant coaches (all age groups) must complete US Lacrosse Level 1 online course.

·      U13 and U15 head coaches must have completed a US Lacrosse Level 1 Women's Coaching Clinic in- person within the past few years.

·      All head and assistant coaches (all age groups) must complete the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) online or in-person course.

·      All head and assistant coaches must attend an in-person Rules Q. and A., MBGLL Rules Clinic, or US Lacrosse Women's Coaching Clinic annually.  (any one of these three will satisfy)

Note – Completion of a previous men’s lacrosse coaching clinic does not fulfill any of the requirements below.

 

Every head and assistant coach must attend a Rules Q. and A. or a Rules Clinic annually.  This is your chance to review previous rules and learn the newest ones by asking your questions to a certified, senior official from EMWLUA.  Each session is 1.5 to 2 hours.

MBGLL Rules Clinic in 2017

MBGLL is offering a Rules Certification program for coaches.  This certification consists of completion of the following activities:      (THIS CERTIFICATION IS NOT MANDATORY)
 

>In-person MBGLL or US Lacrosse Rules Clinic.

>Positive Coaching Alliance Course (live or online).

>Successful completion of the 2017 US Lacrosse Youth Rules test (on-line) [Score of 85 or higher is required]
